I had a pleasant stay at Clarion Inn Sheffield Muscle Shoals. The staff provided excellent customer service, promptly assisting with any requests. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful, served from 6 am to 11 am, allowing plenty of time to enjoy it. Additionally, the hotel's location right across from the bridge to Florence was both convenient and peaceful.

No significant negatives during my stay.

The in-house bar and restaurant offered a solid selection, making it convenient for a quick bite without leaving the hotel. The expansive parking lot accommodates trailers easily, which is a plus for road warriors.

The hotel clearly shows signs of neglect, with multiple guests reporting concerns about cleanliness—rooms often harboring issues like dirty bedding and unpleasant odors that don't sit right. Some amenities, such as the vending machines, have been out of order, which is a hassle when you're looking for a late-night snack. On top of that, noise from other guests can disrupt the peace, particularly during the night, leading to a less than restful experience.

The room had both an inside and outside door, which was convenient. The beds were comfy enough, but the blankets had some weird fuzz on them like they'd been washed with personal items. A bit strange. Also, I noticed some mold in the bathroom and dust behind the furniture. Definitely needs some TLC.

I had a great time exploring all the nearby sites, including the famous Muscle Shoals Sound Studio just a 15-minute walk away and Frank Lloyd Wright's stunning Rosenbaum House less than 4 km away, making it easy to enjoy the artistic side of the city. however, the breakfast options could be improved as the waffle maker was empty during my stay.

The room had dirt under the sheets, yet the comfort was decent.

It was just a fine choice for a fleeting trip in Sheffield with great value. The linens were fresh, which was a nice touch. Avoid rooms that smell like smoke. you might have to deal with it.

Family not impressed

I stayed for one night while visiting family and I gotta say the bedding was clean and so were the bathrooms, better than I expected honestly. The breakfast was decent too, hot foods and some cold stuff that didn't feel like a total afterthought.

But let's be real, it wasn’t cheap for what you get, felt kinda overpriced.

Had a great time on a group trip! We explored the Alabama Music Hall of Fame and the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio. The hotel was smoke-free, which we loved, and offered free wifi and parking. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and karaoke night, which made for a fun evening.
